We are excited to Introduce the Africa Child Online Safety Alliance (ACOsA), a collaborative initiative led by Civil Society Organizations across Africa, dedicated to promoting Child Online Protection
By Regionalizing online safety efforts, we address specific threats unique to different areas, leveraging local data and trends to craft targeted responses Online risks such as cyberbullying, exploitation, and harmful content often manifest differently across regions.
Additionally, children's online behavior is shaped by various socioeconomic factors. Therefore, regionalizing initiatives ensures that factors like poverty, education levels, and urban-rural divides are considered, enabling more tailored and effective interventions.
